After Leopard replaced Tiger, I realized that I simply HATE the Leopard dock. What the hell is that? A ledge made out of glass ? That’s incredibly cheesy and doesn’t look as pro and slick as you would expect from OSX.
So I looked around the web for a better dock, and found out about ONYX. What is it? Well basically it’s the tool that can easily modify a lot of things (from the finder, the dock, expose and dashboard) and it has many preferences that are normally hidden by the system. For example did you know that apparently there is another dock image built in, probably for apple developers who couldn’t stand the glass-ledge ?
It’s black and very simple (plain even) and I love it! You can also do plenty of other tweaks so go and check it out at : ONYX
